You need a team that can guide the details, answer questions clearly, and get the work right. iDesign Granite is a Fredericksburg countertop company founded in Spring 2017 by JJ (Vamekh Gegeshidze). From our showroom and shop at 11001 Pierson Dr, Suite E, we help customers move from idea to finished space with consultation, custom fabrication, and professional installation. Our team brings over 15 years of experience fabricating and installing custom countertops.

Vamekh Gegeshidze JJ
JJ Vamekh Gegeshidze is a visionary entrepreneur passionate about the granite industry. As a seasoned professional with years of experience in fabrication, polishing, installation, measurement and sales, JJ has a deep understanding of the industry and a drive to bring his expertise to the table. With a background as an immigrant, JJ has always had big dreams and a determination to succeed. In the Spring of 2017, JJ saw an opportunity in the Fredericksburg area to provide high-quality granite services and seized it, despite the risks involved. With a combination of hard work, determination, and a bit of luck, JJ was able to start iDesign Granite and has never looked back since. JJ's biggest joy in running the company is the opportunity to improve the reputation of the granite industry, which he feels is often undervalued and underappreciated. With a commitment to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and customer service, JJ is dedicated to elevating the industry and making iDesign Granite a leading provider of granite services.
Levan
CNC Drafter - Levan is a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional who has been in the custom countertop industry for over 17 years. He currently works as a CNC Drafter at iDesign Granite, where he is responsible for creating drawings and programming the machine for cutting the custom countertop out of the stone slabs. Previously he had worked with finishing, installing, and measuring the countertops. Levan is passionate about his work. Levan takes pride in his work and strives to make everything as close to perfect as possible, preventing installation teams from having to rework or cut the countertops onsite. This help creates cleaner job sites and keeps the finish across the countertop consistent. The iDesign Granite team highly values him for his accuracy and attention to detail. He takes his work seriously and always double-checks to ensure everything is as accurate as possible. This level of precision has earned him and iDesign Granite a reputation for quality and excellence.
Justin
Sales Representative - Justin brings fresh enthusiasm and a commitment to customer care to iDesign Granite. With a background in retail sales and a lifelong exposure to the granite industry through his father, Justin combines natural problem-solving skills with a growing passion for design. Justin enjoys building connections with customers and guiding them through the process of creating spaces they love. A dedicated team member, Justin appreciates iDesign’s supportive environment, where learning and collaboration come naturally.
Hunter
Business Development Manager - Hunter is a results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in custom countertops and construction. His experience in distribution gave him the chance to work with fabricators across Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland, which deepened his industry knowledge and led him back to iDesign Granite—where the quality of work stood above the rest. He enjoys working with homeowners on unique and rustic designs and values being part of a company with the potential to outperform much of the market. Hunter shared, “What I love most is helping clients bring their vision to life while also helping the business grow.”
Nicole
Sales Representative - Nicole is a driven and motivated sales representative with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. With 18 years of experience in the industry, she has a thorough understanding of the products and services offered by iDesign Granite. She is dedicated to finding the best solution for each of her clients and is skilled in building strong relationships based on trust and reliability. Nicole loves the impact countertops have on a space. Changing the countertop can completely change the entire feel of the kitchen or bathroom without any major renovations. Nichole has enjoyed her experience working for iDesign granite, and shared "It is comforting working for a company that truly cares about the employees and the clients."
Ismael
Measure Tech - Ismael began his journey with iDesign Granite in 2020 as an installer and quickly advanced into measuring, thanks to his eye for detail and dedication to quality. With a strong family background in the trade—his father having over 20 years in the industry—Ismael developed a passion for countertops early on. He takes great pride in helping homeowners upgrade their spaces, knowing his work adds both beauty and value to their homes and the local community.
Fabrication & Installation Team
JJ has a deep appreciation and respect for the fabricators and installers in the granite industry. Throughout his long career in the industry, JJ has witnessed first-hand the hard work, skill, and craftsmanship that goes into creating beautiful countertops, but he has also seen how these valuable contributions from the Fabricators and installers are often underappreciated. JJ is driven to challenge the underappreciation of fabricators and installers in the industry and give them the recognition they deserve. He aims to enhance the industry's image and emphasize the crucial role that fabricators and installers play in creating beautiful kitchens and bathrooms.
